We were tasked with creating a short documentary that looks at how some in the fishing industry are working side by side with the scientific community to better understand the oceans and the path to sustainability. Often the fishing industry can be seen as antagonistic to ocean research and efforts to maintain the ocean’s health.

KQED Food/Smelt Fishing

A piece for KQED Food‘s online series, Taste This. I had the privilege of having Sea Forager Kirk Lombard take me out to his favorite Night Smelt fishing spot. Then he head back to the Fishwife Camilla Lombard for some Fries with Eyes. Shot the whole thing with the SONY A7sII. Producer, Director, Cinematographer, Editor
